Description: New construction of a "Fisher House" on the site of the McGuire Veteran’s Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. This 21 bedroom house also contains a central family room, dining room, living room, laundry facilities and large kitchen for families to share while in residence. This project is one of many Fisher House projects across the world. The Fisher House Program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need. These "comfort homes" enable family members of a service man/woman to be close by, free of charge, during the military personnel's hospitalization. |
